About CARE

CARE is a veterinary practice dedicated exclusively to the care of birds, reptiles, and exotic animals.

CARE provides species-specific consultation, diagnostics, treatment planning and hospital support for patients whose needs are often subtle, complex and different from those of dogs and cats.

About CARE

Patients

Species we see.

CARE works with birds, reptiles, rabbits, rodents and other exotic companion animals. Each patient is assessed according to their species, behaviour, diet, housing, history and clinical signs.

01

Birds

Birds often hide illness until changes become more serious. Appetite, droppings, posture, breathing, feather condition, weight and behaviour can all provide important clinical clues.

Parrots, pigeons, chickens, waterfowl and other avian patients

02

Reptiles

Reptile care depends strongly on husbandry. Temperature, humidity, lighting, diet, enclosure setup and seasonal changes can all influence health and treatment planning.

Snakes, lizards, tortoises and other reptiles

03

Rabbits and rodents

Small mammals can change quickly when something is wrong. Appetite, faecal output, dental health, movement, posture and behaviour are all important parts of assessment.

Rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice, hamsters and similar patients

04

Other exotic patients

Some patients do not fit neatly into standard categories. Their care still begins with careful history, appropriate handling, species-specific context and practical clinical planning.

Ferrets and selected exotic companion animals
